Why Choose the ProSafe SCBA Training Unit?

Unlimited modular reconfigurability

Never let your crew get comfortable with the same layout. Our three-tier maze features removable floor and wall panels, allowing instructors to rapidly reconfigure independent confined space areas. This ensures every training evolution offers a fresh, unpredictable challenge.
Complete environmental realism

From the onboard control room, trainers can saturate the unit with non-toxic smoke to reach zero visibility in just 45 seconds. Integrated sound and lighting systems simulate the chaos, noise, and confusion of a structural collapse or high-intensity fireground.

Fully self-sufficient mobility

The SCBA trainer is a true “anytime, anywhere” solution. With an onboard generator and climate-controlled control room, this trailer-mounted unit operates independently of shore power, making it perfect for regional training rotations.
Key Features & Capabilities
Pro-Safe Fire Training System Inc. builds live fire training systems shaped by real-world fireground experience. Every simulator and prop is designed to deliver realistic training conditions with the control, consistency, and safety standards instructors and crews rely on.
Triple-tier design
A massive training volume across three levels. The first two tiers feature removable obstacles, while the open third tier is dedicated to specialized search and rescue drills.
Onboard control center
Instructors manage the entire environment—smoke, strobes, and audio—from a central command station with a full view of the safety monitoring systems.
Rapid smoke induction
High-output smoke generators provide a total blackout environment in under a minute, forcing trainees to rely on touch and muscle memory.
Vertical access integration
Includes six removable panels between tiers and an optional rooftop access duct, allowing for advanced tripod recovery and vertical confined space shaft training.
Rugged, customizable framing
Built on a heavy-duty trailer chassis, the interior can be reconfigured to your specific requirements, including narrow “rat holes,” entanglement hazards, and vertical drops.
Why Propane?

Propane provides the most realistic simulation of fire. It offers lower costs through reduced maintenance and less fuel burned. Propane is also more environmentally friendly than alternative fuel sources.
benefits of propane live fire training
- Realistic fire simulation with controllable, repeatable flame behaviour
- Lower maintenance requirements with cleaner operation and reduced residue
- Reduced fuel use through efficient burns and scenario control
- Cleaner operation compared to many traditional fuel alternatives
Fuel flexibility and integration
Pro-Safe systems can also be configured to integrate with natural gas and Tek Flame, offering additional flexibility to match site requirements, training objectives, and available fuel sources.

Compliance and Safety Record

Pro-Safe Fire Training Systems Inc. designs live fire training systems to align with a wide range of stringent international compliance requirements. This commitment has positioned Pro-Safe to support training programs and facilities that serve military, airport ARFF, and civilian fire departments, where regulatory expectations and safety standards are exceptionally high.
Safety is central to every simulator, prop, and training evolution. Developed by firefighters for firefighters, Pro-Safe systems are built for controlled operation, repeatable scenarios, and responsible training environments. To date, no training-related injuries have been reported as a result of training with Pro-Safe systems.
